What if your fascia needs to be replaced.
If your fascia boards are not a stable surface to install a new gutter system on to, we will quote and replace existing fascia boards. When we quote homes with wooden gutters we always give a option on worst case scenario so our homeowners can budget before gutter installation begins.
How long will it take to replace my fascia?
If its planned or not most fascia replacements only take us a day to remove and install new fascia boards. Because we replace fascia board on a regular basis and do not shy away from wood rot our crew is just as knowledgeable when it comes to fascia as they are with seamless gutter installation.
What are my options for material?
Wood- If we are only replacing some of your fascia most the time we will use pre primed wood to match up with existing because vinyl boards contract and expand differently than wood.
Vinyl Board- We use vinyl board when the customer is looking for a product that does not rot and they do not need to paint. We glue our seems of vinyl board together to stop the boards from gaps when they shrink. Vinyl board is only available in white so most customers will choose wood if they need to paint it anyways.
Pre finished aluminum fascia cap.
If the fascia is solid and just needs a face lift some customers will op for a aluminum cap which we can match to the color of the gutters so no painting is needed no matter what the color. The trim cap is going to be the most inexpensive way to go versus full fascia replacement.
